Homelessness in Indianapolis

0n a single night in January 2008, more than 1,500 men, women and children were found and counted to be among those experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis. The number does not represent the extent of the problem. Not counted were the many more men, women and children who could not be located on the night of the count and people who found temporary shelter in hotels or in the homes of friends and relatives.
